• PLS

2/ Description :
This tool reduces the number of vertices in a　selected polyline based on a specified tolerance value to optimize geometry.

• Vertex Reduction: Simplifies complex polylines by removing unnecessary vertices while attempting to maintain the original shape.

• Tolerance Control: Users can input a tolerance value (recommended 2 to 10) to adjust the level of simplification; higher values result in fewer vertices but greater distortion.

3/ How to Use :

1. Type pls in the command line and press Enter.

2. Select the Polyline you wish to simplify.

3. Enter a Simplification Tolerance value (e.g., between 2 and 10) and press Enter.

4. The polyline is immediately simplified with fewer vertices.
